About Gary
Detective Sgt. Gary Weaver of White Hall Police Department is also a 26-year veteran of the Bridgeport Police Department and the former supervisor of the Bridgeport Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
Det. Weaver has been deputized with the WV State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force since 2011 and with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Task Force since 2012. He specializes in Crimes Against Children including sexual exploitation and endangerment of children.
Det. Weaver has been on the Hero’s Haven Child Advocacy Center Board of Directors since 2009 and is an active member of the Harrison County Multi-Disciplinary Investigative Team. Det. Weaver also serves as a Board Member of SHIELD Task Force, an abuse prevention nonprofit.
