Session 1 — Tool or Threat: Artificial Intelligence for Law Enforcement and MDTs (Part 1)
Artificial intelligence is reshaping criminal investigations, offering powerful tools while also introducing new threats. This two-part training will provide investigators and multidisciplinary team members with a robust understanding of AI’s impact and utility, from leveraging AI for investigative purposes to addressing the dangers of synthetic child sexual abuse material and other harmful material. Participants will also learn how to mitigate AI-related risks and incorporate emerging technologies ethically and effectively in their work.
Part 1 equips law enforcement and MDT members to operationalize AI in their work.

Session 3 — Youth With Problematic Sexual Behavior: Best Practices for Prosecution and Response
Cases involving youth with problematic sexual behavior are tragically common for prosecutors, forensic interviewers, and other MDT members. However, addressing these cases effectively presents complex challenges and considerations. This workshop, taught by a former prosecutor, offers relevant research and tactics for appropriate intervention and prosecution.
